Meet Waleed — Fresh, Handcrafted Pizza in San Francisco
Pizza isn’t a side project for me. It’s what I’ve been doing my whole career — years behind the counter, learning from every chef who’d teach me, experimenting with doughs, dialing in sauces, and figuring out what separates a good slice from a great one.
In January 2022, I opened Yummy Pizza so we could finally do it our way. That means hand-stretched dough we make fresh every day, top-quality ingredients we source with care, and recipes we’ve refined over years of obsessive tinkering. No shortcuts. No frozen anything. No cutting corners on the cheese.
We never stop improving. New pies, seasonal toppings, new doughs in the works — if there’s a way to make our pizza better, we’re already trying it.
We’re proud to be part of the San Francisco community. We know a lot of our regulars by name, and we treat every order like it matters, because it does. Got a specific request, an allergy, or a dietary need? Tell us — we’ll make it work.
We’re open late night, so whether it’s a Tuesday dinner or a Saturday at midnight, we’ve got you covered.
